Courses

All courses are taught in person by Michelle RN CMT in a small group setting and include both theory and hands-on practice hours, to ensure course objectives are met.  


Courses are designed for certified massage therapists, licensed massage therapists, and massage therapists that are in their final stage (clinical hours) of their massage school program.   Additional requirements for specific courses are listed below.

Courses

Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Body

This is a 6-hour in person course, perfect for massage therapists who are new to the lymphatic system. Cost: $575

Course Objectives:

  • Gain foundational knowledge of the lymphatic system, how it works, and how lymphatic massage impacts the lymphatic system
  • Learn and practice hand techniques and pressure used to activate the lymphatic system and how to maximize the lymphatic flow
  • Learn and practice lymphatic sequences for the abdomen, back, arms, and legs

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of anatomy
  • Must be a certified or licensed massage therapist, or in final stage of massage school

Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Face

This is a 4-hour in person course, perfect for massage therapists who are new to the lymphatic system. Cost: $375

Course Objectives:

  • Gain foundational knowledge of the lymphatic system, how it works, and how lymphatic massage impacts the lymphatic system
  • Learn and practice hand techniques and pressure used to activate the lymphatic system and how to maximize the lymphatic flow
  • Learn and practice lymphatic sequences for the face, neck and head

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of anatomy
  • Must be a certified or licensed massage therapist, or in final stage of massage school

Post-Op Lymphatic Advanced Course

This 16-hour course covers the most common plastic surgery procedures for the face and body. Cost: $2,600

Course Objectives:

  •  Learn how to properly and thoroughly assess your clients to create an effective treatment plan 
  • Learn lymphatic technique sequences for most common face and body plastic surgeries
  •  Learn most effective post op lymphatic massage techniques and sequences, and how to customize them 
  • Learn signs and symptoms of infections, seromas, fibrosis and how to address these findings
  • Learn about the various types and stages of post-op fajas
  • Learn how to set up and promote your post-op lymphatic service

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of anatomy
  • Must be a certified or licensed massage therapist, or in final stage of massage school
  • Must have taken a MLD course

Brazilian Lymphatic Massage - Body

This 8-hour course is ideal for massage therapists who want to expand their knowledge and dive into the aesthetic benefits of brazilian lymphatic massage. Cost: $950

Course Objectives:

  • Review the lymphatic system 
  • Learn how a brazilian lymphatic massage supports aesthetic goals
  • Learn and practice hand techniques and pressure to activate the lymphatic system and how to maximize the lymphatic flow
  • Learn and practice customizable brazilian lymphatic sequences for the body


Additional Requirements:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of anatomy
  • Must be a certified or licensed massage therapist, or in final stage of massage school
  • Must have taken a MLD course
